Welcome to our Naturopathic Species-Specific Nutritional Health Consultations for your Equine, Canine and Feline loved ones.
Our consultations include the three pillars of health and the all-important further three pillars to biological species-specific nutrition, where we will consider the foundation, therapeutic and preventative nutritional factors of each individual’s Symptomology versus Systemology.
In today’s nutrition market our domesticated animals are suffering a wide range of health problems in epidemic proportions. The range of conditions are likened to many human diseases and then treated with the same human-focused paradigms. A vast majority of animal owners are unaware of how to support the internal bodily systems of their animals and how they can aid in preventing the unnecessary compromised health issues, by simply considering the evolutionary and biological make-up of a meso-carnivore, obligate carnivore or a herbivore’s entire health system.
Animal owners are told that it is totally normal for our domesticated horses, dogs and cats to suffer from modern human-like diseases, even though their evolutionary biology is not indicative of these modern diseases. This suffering is in fact not an animal’s choice. Once an animal is owned by a human, and the human is then guided by clever marketing and hearsay, or perhaps the breeders unfounded recommendations, or a product that can only be prescribed by an industry professional; the animal is now at the mercy of the presumed standards the owner feels it has to uphold.
When we compare our “modern” pets to their wild relatives or even their ancestors from 1,000 years ago, or even only 50 years ago, we see healthy animals that are not suffering from any of the diseases our domesticated animals are subjected to in this modern age. When animals are allowed to live in or as close to their natural biological state, the reality of the ‘prey or predator’ model through evolution, creates a predictable blueprint of their bodily systems and how they best survive and thrive. This becomes each individual species homeostatic health paradigm, that evolutionary biology they are equipped with is designed for their ultimate success, which has been curated from thousands of years, with no limitations or influence from mankind. In Zoo’s, it is imperative that each species is eating foods as close as possible to its evolutionary requirements, not just to survive, but to thrive due to the unique metabolic pathways of each species. The whole body, including their state of mind must be considered, the complete homeostasis of their body to function at its best is of the utmost importance, otherwise we would see the demise of these species that are unable to roam free.
As humans, our own mind knows what we should and shouldn’t eat, yet we make our own human decisions for our own health at our own expense and lifestyle choices. However, our animals do not have that choice. They have been removed from their natural biological state of existence. Humans can and should enlist a more informed way of thinking about their animals’ health requirements for the greater good of their health, wellbeing and longevity; that honours the thousands of years’ worth of biological systems. For our modern times, we need to be implementing these specific health markers, if we want to have healthier living pets. Depending on the age and severity of the animals compromised state of health, many improvements and nutritional benefits can be achieved, sometimes with the right management plan there can be a complete reversal of a condition. Any positive changes on a cellular level will be extremely beneficial to the health and welfare of your dog, cat or horse.

Please rest assure, this is where we are here to support and guide you through the steps to understanding and implementing nutritional support to your animals’ overall vitality, enabling you, the animals loving caregiver, the understanding and satisfaction of knowing the differences of what is the most beneficial for your animals internal-to-external health at every stage of their life.
Our consultations are very specific to the individual biological make-up of a dog (meso-carnivore), cat (obligate-carnivore) or a horse (graminoid herbivore) and always in accordance with their very individual circumstances.
Second Opinion Services
Seeking a second opinion can provide valuable information for those owners facing a medical diagnosis or medication change that impacts their pets’ quality of life.

The service is trusted by referral veterinary practices and allows for further specialised analysis into the animals’ individual circumstances. The reasonings and benefits of a Second Opinion:

- Offers peace of mind: Gives you confidence that you are choosing the absolute best path forward for your pet.
- Empowers your choices: Helps you take control of your animal’s health journey as an active participant and the sole caretaker of your animal.

The Consultation Process
Please send an email (admin@anme.com.au) initiating your interest in a Health and/or Nutritional consultation, from that point we will return your email and attach a very extensive consultation client/patient history form for you to fill-in.
Once we have received (via email) your fully filled in client information forms your client information forms will be assessed within a few days.
It is imperative that the client health history forms are thoroughly filled in. If there are any additional documents such as blood tests, or other diagnostics these must be included, as this will further aid in giving us an insight into the internal and external workings of your animal.
In our phone consultation with you, we will discuss any previous and present conditions, past and current nutritional deficits and future nutrition pathways to aid in achieving optimum health results for your beloved animals’ wellbeing and longevity.
Please note: Nutritional Plans may or may not include herbal additions.
We will always suggest cost effective ideas to help support these changes, as the changes themselves need to be gradually implemented over the first initial 12 weeks.
We also DO NOT make up and supply the actual meals. All nutritional changes to the animals’ diet will be explained in steps applicable to the individual requirements and will be at the client’s own cost.
Once your application has been assessed to have included all relevant information and it has been approved, the following appointment procedures will be as follows:
- A return email notification of payment details will be sent, along with available consultation times. Upon confirming your payment and availability, your phone call appointment time will be confirmed.
