Our variety of Companion Pets and Equine courses are available internationally through a blended delivery via distance education across the subjects of Naturopathic Medicine: Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Massage, Anatomy & Physiology, and more!

Our courses aim to bridge the two pathways of science and traditional medicine to expand the treatment options of all domesticated animals within human care. These courses are developed with the learner in mind, which of course is you.

Studying with ANME ~ the 'Naturopathic' mindset

Naturopathy is a whole medicinal system combining theory (philosophy and principles) and practice that uses an array of natural medicine to support healing and maintain the ‘whole’ aspect of animal health. Naturopathic medicine was founded upon traditional medicine, where working with the body as a whole was the key to true health. ‘Holistic Medicine’ or ‘Wholistic Medicine’ as we like to say in Naturopathic philosophy, is seen as the complete foundational and traditional way of helping the body to work as one at an optimum balance of homeostasis. Learning to understand and work with the individual species will always be the most beneficial way in helping and considering the ‘whole’ aspect of the animal from the ‘inside-out and outside-in’ mindset through an evolution biology perspective, focusing on species specific anatomy.

I had a wonderful time studying at ANME, the equine nutrition course was in depth on not only the feed types but also in anatomy & physiology, plus I had not realised just how important having the knowledge of pasture management and effective paddock control was for true equine diets!
