Welcome to the Animal Naturopathic Medicine Ēducātum
Naturopathic Medicine aims to consider the ‘whole’ body perspective when investigating dysfunction that is specific to the individual species.
“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.”
- Hippocrates
"Naturopathy finds and treats the root cause whenever possible, instead of just medicating the symptoms."

"Globally leading the way in Animal Naturopathic Studies for over 35 years"

Animal Naturopathic Medicine Ēducātum

The Animal Naturopathic Medicine Ēducātum is committed to the future and success of animal naturopathic medicine on a global scale. Naturopathy is the complete study of the animals biological form and for you the student to fully understand the medicinal foundations of treating the systematic whole-body function from a wholistic perspective.

Combining centuries of philosophy and principle theories that will focus on traditional natural medicine modalities to support healing and maintain health.

Naturopathic Medicine is not covered in the Veterinary medicine health model, where the format to treat the symptom does not begin with an understanding and acknowledgement to first treat the root cause of the illness and disease. Nonetheless all animal biologically aware naturopaths can work alongside a Veterinarian for optimum treatment outcomes.

The core biological needs of the species is always at the forefront for their ultimate health and treatment outcomes. Treatment strategies are tailored to the individual and will include clinical nutrition, herbal medicine and traditional manual therapies like whole-body Myofacilitation©. The origins of where medicine first began, make up the true trilogy and principals to strive for homeostatic inner and outer health, along with assessing the lifestyle of the animal and pathways to a life well lived, physically, mentally and emotionally.

Our biological naturopathic approach is for the whole aspect of an animals wellbeing, right down to the cellular level, through every stage of their life.

This fascinating study into naturopathy for animals explores all areas of the body, each course guide can guide you further into the course curriculum.

Studying with ANME ~ the 'Naturopathic' mindset

Naturopathy is a whole medicinal system where the complete biological form and an absolute consideration of the of the animal is supported. The long-standing principles and philosophy of naturopathy will treat and support the ‘whole’ aspect of the animal. The modern ‘reductionist mindset’ of treating just the symptom and not the cause will never truly help each individual animals’ health concern from the evolutionary biological perspective.

"The course was thorough and informative. Coming from a human massage background and having had converted to canine massage I wanted to know I was doing the ‘right’ thing in the tactile aspect and to have a much better understanding of muscles and report writing. I was blown away by the content of the course. It was exactly what I desired and needed."

"Learning at the ANME has been fantastic. The smaller classes made learning a personal experience and allows you to grasp the tasks at hand and really understand the subjects. Relationships built with teachers makes ANME a comfortable, friendly, fun environment in which to learn. ANME also offers a wide selection of courses to expand your knowledge."

I had a wonderful time studying at ANME, the equine nutrition course was in depth on not only the feed types but also in anatomy & physiology, plus I had not realised just how important having the knowledge of pasture management and effective paddock control was for true equine diets! So glad I chose to study with ANME.

Being a dog lover I knew I wanted to study canine massage and give back to working dogs in honour of my own beloved hard-working dogs! Learning the movement of each of the canine muscles and where they attach within the body was an absolute game changer! Knowing the role of exercise physiology and gait movements gave me greater understanding and respect for how best to maintain the longevity of dogs in my training. Special shout out to my lecturer Leslie, your knowledge is out of this world, Thank you 🙂
