Knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology is essential as a foundation to many aspects of companion pet health care.

This course is designed for those entering the new and exciting world of Anatomy and Physiology for both Canines and Felines or for those that wish to expend their knowledge basis as health practitioners.

Anatomy and physiology are two of the most basic terms and areas of study in the life sciences. Anatomy refers to the internal and external structures of the body and their physical relationships, whereas physiology refers to the study of the functions of those structures.

Course outcomes evolve an appreciation of how the body functions and specific roles that each bodily system preforms to enable homeostasis’s.

Please note that this is a research-based course delivered by qualified and experienced practitioners but is not an Australian government-accredited qualification offered through the TAFE system. Graduates are professional accredited through industry associations.

Payment Plan

Course is divided into two (2) units of study containing several modules within each Course Unit, as a part of our 'pay-as-you-study' payment plan. Each Unit of study within the course is priced at $500.00 (AUD$), meaning that students pay for each Unit as they proceed through the course. Anatomy & Physiology Courses are suggested to be completed within six (6) months.
Nominal course hours: 220

Delivery Mode

The course is completely structured in delivery each week for the full six (6) months, with course modules and assessment tasks being released at the same time each week. This helps students to time manage and consolidate their learning with set course tasks each week. As the course is completely structured in delivery each week, students are unable to finish the course sooner, however, the course has an open-end expiry, so students can take as long as they need to finish the course in its entirety.

Assessment

Quizzes and examinations on the online learning portal.

Course Materials

All course notes and Ebooks are included in the course price.

Accreditation

Graduates are eligible to join the Small Animal and Equine Naturopathic Association or the International Institute of Complimentary Therapies as a full member.

Upon successful completion of the course and assessments, graduates will receive their Certification and an Academic Transcript.
